Three Vintages of ProwessDx are released in each calendar year. These are released as on 31 March, 30 September and 31 December.
A new Vintage includes data for the period since the release of the previous Vintages. Contents of a Vintage are not changed once they are created. Data is neither added, deleted nor modified. The data remains unchanged for all times to come.
The March 2020 Vintage contained data for 51,031 companies. A total of 130 new companies have been included in the September 2020 Vintage, thereby raising the total tally of companies in ProwessDx to 51,161.
The following new indicators have been added in September 2020 Vintage:
Listing date: The indicators ‘Listing date on NSE’ and ‘Listing date on BSE’ have been added in ‘Identity’ table. The date when the company’s shares were listed for trading on the National Stock Exchange and Bombay Stock Exchange is stored in these indicators respectively.
- Company/Issuer not co-operating: The Indicator ‘Company/Issuer not co-operating’ has been included in ’Credit ratings’ table. In case the issuer does not comply with the rating agency or furnish necessary documents to carry out a rating, the agency tries to carry out the process on the basis of best available information in the public domain. Such ratings are marked with a suffix ISSUER NOT COOPERATING* in their credit rationale. This indicator contains a ‘Y/N’ flag which denotes the status of non-cooperation with rating agency.
The next Vintage of ProwessDx will be released on 1st January 2021 for database snapshot as on 31st December, 2020.
